Streetz Ahead is a registered charity that provides subsidised street dance and performing arts classes for kids in primary schools, colleges, after school clubs and 6th form centres, for over 500 young people and adults per week.
Join the Streetz Ahead family, learn to dance and take part in a range of different events throughout the year. Take a look below at some of the amazing events Streetz Ahead have organised:
We run our classes during term time in a
relaxed and fun environment which lead to
full scale musical productions three times a year.
Our classes develop self-confidence through the
power of performance. Friendships are formed
and our students stay with us year after year.
We take pride in being able to offer pathways
in the performing arts to young adults. We provide
work experience weeks for secondary schools.
Work placements for young people. We are also
starting a Performing Arts BTEC in September.
We regularly perform at festivals, dance events,
fairs and organise flash mobs. Performing at these
events is a great way to build confidence, perform
to family and friends and get experience in performance

“The show was AMAZING! Scarlett had such a great time preparing for and performing in the show. She was so proud of herself on Saturday, as well all the family who came to watch. The show was really funny and well put together, it was so nice to see all those children brought together. Scarlett loves Streetz Ahead classes, and adores Lulu! Thanks for all you do. The work you do particularly with regards to being inclusive to all is inspiring! Jenna.
A really entertaining uplifting show. It shows what young people with support, resources and dedication & talented some people can achieve – for now and the future. This sort of activity is great value and must be financially supported.
Thank you for a brilliant day yesterday – you & Elizabeth must be proud too (& knackered!).
